Hunter Classics

501. $2,500 PONY HUNTER CLASSIC
Entry Fee $175 (must be entered in the office before competing in the first/qualifying round)
Fences Small 2’3”, Medium 2’6”, Large 3’. Green Ponies not eligible unless also showing in a reg. pony section. First Round will be scored numerically in Classes 119, 124 & 129. Top fifteen will return for a second round.

505. $5,000 GERMANTOWN HUNTER CLASSIC
Entry Fee: $300.00 (must be entered in the office before competing in the first/qualifying round)

Open to all horses that compete in the following divisions:
High Performance, Performance 3’6”, Green 3’6” & 3’9”,
Conformation, Amateur Owner 3’6”, Small & Large Junior Working Hunters 3’6”.
In the final round, the horse must compete at its qualifying level with qualifying rider.

The class is to be judged on performance and soundness, with manners emphasized. It is to be scored under the open numerical judging system. The designated classic first round will be the second trip of the division on the first day of each qualifying section. The top fifteen scores from the first round will return to jump a second round of approximately 10-12 fences with a posted order – by score – of low fences to higher fences, on Friday evening. The horse must show at the same height as in the first-round qualifier. On deck horse must be ready and standing by the announcer’s stand. Scores will be added from both rounds to determine the winners. In case of a tie for first place only, the tied horses will jump a third round over a shortened course as a tie-breaker. In all other ties, the prize money will be added and distributed equally. Riders will toss a coin for tied ribbons.

506. $1,000 3’3″ JUNIOR/AMATEUR OWNER HUNTER CLASSIC

To be eligible, horses must have entered, shown and completed the course in at least two classes in the Hunter Section. The 2nd over fences class of each 3’3″ section will count as the first round.

511. Low Jumper Classic
Fences at .85m – .90m
Entry fee: $80
Class specifications: Table II, 2b
Horse/rider combinations must have entered and competed in, or will compete in any .85m class.
Class restriction: This class is restricted to horses that have not shown in, and will not show in any Jumper class other than .85m or Schooling Jumper. Showing in this class will make you ineligible for any class other than .85m or Schooling Jumpers.
