Why Sponsor a GCHS Princess?

• Community recognition through princess appearances
• Recognition in the Horse Show Program
• “First Chance” opportunity to purchase Royal Ball tickets and GCHS Box Seats

GCHS Princess Requirements

• Princesses must be a junior or senior in high school, must be 16 years or older and have a valid driver’s license
• Princesses must not have served previously as a GCHS Princess
• The sponsoring club / organization will pay the sponsorship fee of $425

GCHS Princess Obligations

• Assist with at least one organization event.
• Make an appearance at a sponsoring organization event, or write a letter if an appearance is not possible
• Volunteer for at least one event of the sponsoring organization.
• Volunteer at least two hours at Kindred Place.
• Speak at school assembly (if possible) about GCHS.
• Attend Mother/Daughter Orientation Social, January 7, 2024
• Be present for rehearsal for Royal Ball, February 2, 2024
• Be present for presentation for Royal Ball, February 3, 2024
• Be presented at a monthly GCHS Association meeting
• Father-Daughter Cookout, Spring, Date TBD
• Attend Mother/Daughter brunch, April 14, 2024
• Attend ring decorating party, June 2, 2024
• Volunteer for Germantown Christmas Parade, December 2024
• Be available for volunteering the week of the horse show, June 4-8, 2024

Duties at the Show May Include

• Presenting ribbons
• Volunteering during the week of the show
• Presentation of Princesses on Saturday night of show
• Visiting exhibitors
• Selling tickets and programs
• Selling horse show merchandise

Financial Obligations

1. $425 + the $425 Sponsorship Fee from the sponsoring organization, which covers:

   • Mother/Daughter Social and Father/Daughter BBQ
   • Princess Notebook
   • Clothing for the horse show (maxi dress, hat, shirt, and skort)
   • Meals for the princess and her Ball escort at the Royal Ball
   • Photographer’s fee

               * These fees are non-refundable

2. Royal Ball
   • $1250 (each Princess’s party is responsible for purchasing a table of 10 – note that this does not include the Princess and her ball escort
   • White formal dress for presentation * These fees are non-refundable
3. Optional – Purchasing advertisement in the Horse Show Program and professional portraits from the Royal Ball and other events

Fee Summary

1. $850 in the form of $425 from Princess + $425 from Sponsor — Due December 1, 2023 (Please submit together in one envelope)
2. $1250 – Table of 10 for the Ball due before the Royal Ball. Must be paid in one check written to GCHS
