The Germantown Charity Horse Show, affectionately known as “The Charity,” is more than just five days of equestrian fun and excitement each June. Beyond preserving Germantown’s rich equestrian history and promoting equestrian education, the show also serves as a platform to fulfill our mission – one deeply rooted in supporting local charities.
Since its inception, GCHS has a strong tradition of giving back. From 1999 to 2023, we proudly partnered with Kindred Place, a counseling and education center for adults and children, raising over $800,000 to further its mission. We deeply appreciate the lasting impact of this partnership and the vital work Kindred Place continues to do.
In 2024, GCHS expanded its charitable reach to support a broader range of local organizations, including:
- Memphis Oral School for the Deaf
- SVRS (supports individuals with disabilities)
- Kindred Place
- Germantown Education Foundation
- Art programs at Houston and Germantown High Schools
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Tennessee-approved charitable organization, GCHS remains committed to making a meaningful difference in our community by supporting local charities focused on education, children and families.
